Second Chance Sato is a dog rescue organization located south of Pittsburgh, PA. Erica, Founder of Second Chance Sato, has worked to develop a partnership with the Save A Sato rescue organization in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Save A Sato is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to easing the suffering of Puerto Rico's homeless and abused animals. ["Sato" is slang for street dog.] They rescue dogs from the beaches and streets and give them medical care, food, shelter and LOVE! When the dogs are healthy, they are sent to shelter partners like Second Chance Sato. Together, these rescue organizations seek to find forever homes and reduce the overpopulation of stray dogs. All dogs are vaccinated before being sent to the United States.
Despite the long journey, new climate and heartbreaking stories of animal cruelty, the pups you'll meet below are eager to interact, very affectionate and ready to fill your heart with lots of kisses and tail wagging!
